In March we welcome, Mr. Bill McBride   The EHCDC is pleased to be joined by long-time political activist, Mr. Bill McBride.  An attorney in Tampa, Bill has been involved in numerous national, state and local civic, charitable and political organizations.  In 2002, Bill was the Democratic Nominee for Governor of Florida.  In 2008, he was a proud member of Tampa for Hillary.  And of course, most recently, he is supporting his wife, Alex Sink, in her bid for Governor!  Come and hear Bill speak on the "State" of Florida and the State of Alex' campaign! Haiti's Devastating Earthquake  As you all know, Haiti suffered a deadly, devastating earthquake on January 12, 2010.  Aid is still needed for this desparate country.  Please consider doing what you can to help those in such dire need.  The list below is just a few organizations that are collecting and distributing both monetary donations and donated items.  It is by no means a comprehensive list, nor a list of organizations endorsed by the EHCDC.  We do hope that it helps connect you to those who can do some good with your help.
